BCDI-Atlanta is thrilled to officially announce Tatjyana Elmore as our President! With a remarkable journey of leadership and service to the organization, Tatjyana’s appointment marks an exciting new chapter in our commitment to the well-being and development of Black children and families in Atlanta.

A Legacy of Leadership

Tatjyana first joined BCDI-Atlanta in 2018 as a dedicated and passionate member of the Board of Directors, serving as Treasurer. Her expertise in financial stewardship and strategic planning played a pivotal role in advancing our organizational goals. Recognizing her leadership qualities and deep commitment to our mission, Tatjyana was appointed as Interim President. During her interim tenure, she demonstrated exceptional vision, resilience, and a steadfast dedication to uplifting the voices of our community.

As President, Tatjyana brings her wealth of experience and a fresh perspective to her role. Her priorities include strengthening community partnerships, amplifying the voices of Black children and families, and fostering innovative programs that address educational equity, economic empowerment, and overall well-being.
